Scope

The project mandate was fourfold:

  • Review internal equity at basic salary and fixed cash to assess pay alignment across similar jobs.
  • Analyze external competitiveness at basic salary and fixed cash against peer group practices.
  • Develop salary scale recommendations and evaluated their cost impact.
  • Benchmark cash allowances and non-cash benefits against market standards.

Approach & Deliverables

While the approach consisted of the following steps:

  • Analyzed basic salary, fixed cash, and total earnings of employees to identify salary discrepancies and position the organization against its peer group.
  • Proposed a new salary scale to position the organization at the 50th percentile of the general market.
  • Extracted benefits and allowances from the organization’s HR policies to compare them to common market practices.
